Theatrestory.com launched in May of 2009 as an experiment in viral-driven social media. Our Editorial Contributors and Community Managers are theatre lovers and laborers who selfishly donate their time to support growth of the community. Some work closely with Broadway and professional theatre, while others stand in the wings, or worship from the audience.
David
Moon (Editor and Founder)
david.moon@theatrestory.com
In a life before marketing and technology, David had aspirations of
becoming a professional stage designer. His family was extremely
active in community, regional and professional theatre while
growing up, and David participated in dozens of productions; taking
on many onstage and offstage roles and responsibilities. For
several years he worked in a major east coast theatrical costume
house, and with a regional theatre in Southern New Jersey. Today,
David is the CTO of a leading automotive training and technology
company in Chattanooga, TN.

Ashley
Mas (Feature Writer/Producer and
Co-founder)
ashley.mas@theatrestory.com
Ashley graduated in 2008 from Dartmouth College with a BA in
Political Science and Spanish Literature. She now splits her time
in NYC between paralegaling at a law firm in midtown and immersing
herself in the theater world as an actor/singer, avid theatergoer,
and feature writer for TheatreStory! Ashley also spends a lot of
time promoting acceptance and equality as a marriage equality
activist with Broadway Impact. She was recently seen on stage in
the Riant Theater's Rock-A My Soul: A Gospel-Rock Musical which ran
at the Theater at St. Clements, and hopes another exciting project
will be coming up soon! She adores: her family and friends, New
York City, musical theater, music, theater, cobblestone, sailboats,
mountains, hot tea, iced coffee, and enthusiasm. Love.

Lane Beauchamp
Lane is a Broadway junkie who hasn't come close to soaking up all
New York City has to offer. He grew up in a household active in
community theater - in fact, his 79-year-old dad continues to
direct in suburban San Antonio. Lane currently is a digital content
and social media strategist for media companies and not-for-profit
associations. Previously, he spent 15 years as a digital media
executive for CBS Television Stations and other companies. A
graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Lane
started his career as a reporter for The Kansas City Star. Outside
of work, Lane volunteers much of his time for various social causes
that focus on empowering people to make change. Action =
Equality.
